This second edition of Louis L’Amour’s collected stories, now available in paperback for the first time, includes thirty more famous tales of the American frontier. Inside, you’ll find the stories of heroism, honour, and sacrifice that L’Amour made his own, such as the story of a young man sent out alone into a winter storm to face a deadly chaos, or the story of a lawman who discovers the bullet-riddled body of an infamous Mexican robber and realises that his duty requires him to track down a far more dangerous animal. This collection catches men and women at the crossroads of friendship and suspicion, loyalty and betray, and features L’Amour’s hallmark adventures of Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie.
